The bank colorfully celebrated annual employees’ appreciation day in the attendance of board of directors, management members and
employees on October 20, 2018 at Bishoftu, Pyramid Hotel and Resort.
On the occasion, Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Nuredin Awol conveyed a keynote address and the President of GBE Mr. Addisu Habba delivered a speech. In his keynote address, Mr. Nuredin stressed on the paramount importance of rendering the ultimatum quality customer service where it will serve as the competitive edge of the bank. Remarking the landmark achievements registered in the previous business year including 50% growth in deposits, capital rise to birr 579.8 million and foreign exchange of 45.4 million, Mr. Addisu said to the multitude that the bank is growing fast with the great efforts of its employees.
