Our Bank (Global BankEthiopia S.C.) has appointed Ato Tesfaye Boru as Vice President, Operations after securing approval from the National Bank of Ethiopia. Accordingly, Ato Tesfaye Boru assumed the helm of Vice Presidency for Operations effective from March 27, 2017. He has extensive experience in the Ethiopian banking industry and had been working on different capacities at National Bank of Ethiopia, Bank of Abyssinia, United Bank and before joining our Bank he has been Director, Knowledge & Innovation at Zemen Bank S.C. Regarding his education achievements, Ato Tesfaye Boru has a Bachelor Degree in Management & Economics, Masters in Business Administration, ACCA Certified (UK) and currently he is a PhD candidate at the University of South Africa.
The Bank welcomed the V/P and endorsed the confidence the Bank has on him in discharging the duties & responsibilities vested upon him and the contribution he is going to make in achieving the Five Years Strategic Plan.
